Good basic chinese food though there are some Malaysian dishes on the menu. The bread is excellent though the sauce is more chinese than Malaysian. Fast service in a basic typical china town environment.
Really enjoy their Ho Fun noddle dishes.
Taste just like I remember back in Malaysia, and reasonable priced.
I loved their hand pull noodles!!!! I highly recommend it. I discovered this place by accident. I was craving Chinese food but I didn't want to go outside. So I went on caviar and discovered them. I am so glad I did. I tried the beef hand pulled noodles and chicken wings. They were both super yummy! I highly recommend it. Next time I definitely want to eat there. However I did notice that it was super busy.Jaya 888
Loooove the food there!! Service is also great!! Hope to come back next year
Good food but little ancient portion 🙄
My favorite place for authentic Malaysia cooking and taste and my order always be crispy curry puffs and Penang Chow Kuhn Teow which is top notch. Keep up the quality authentic Malaysia delicacies.
This spot is worth giving a shot. They serve large portions for convenient prices. Regularly well organized and with excellent character. Will come visit again.
Ordered the beef satay and salt and pepper pork chops. The satay seemed to have been microwaved and served to me. The pork chops were so disappointing, not only for taste and color, but because they were so thin and a bit burned. Not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing, but they were small bits or pork chops, not a couple of pork chop, but broken pieces of the bone end. Severs seem to be a little lost.
It's a little different from the Malaysian cuisine I am use to. Their ABC (Halo Halo) desert is different and in my opinion not as good as the places I've been. All this is my own personal experience but others palates may favor this place more.
Very good Malaysian food. Highly recommend the pandan chicken. Sooo good!!! Also had the pan fried Pearl noodles and hofun soup noodles. All very good . Veggies were very fresh. Service was a little bit slow, however. I think our server forgot to put in our order, but they were great about it. Very clean all around. Wonderful environment for a family meal or a date.
Excellent food experience in NY city.. so if anybody is in that area.. do visit and experience yourself the tasty Malaysian food. 😊
This is a no frills Malaysia restaurant with good food and a nice staff. What more do you need?
$8 lunch specials featuring Malaysian cuisine on Baxter St, convenient spot to hit for jury duty.
The food here is great but way over priced. They do have a $6.95 lunch special though, it runs from 12p.m.-4p.m. The actual restaurant decor is nice and it has a very warm setting. They have a lot of spicy dishes and the waitress will warn you that it is spicy. Trouble with that is that, my pallet can basically withstand lava. If you are looking to have a quiet meal this place is definitely the right choice. Spacious seating.
Bad communication. Served us the wrong food (not the one we ordered) and made us pay way more. Food wasn’t even good. Very disappointing experience!!!
So good every time. Order the curry mee young tau foo!
This place served me unclean shrimp. I will never come back here again. This was reported to the DOH.
Amazing nasi lemak and chicken satay, great food but they are in need of an interior remodel 😹
Great food -- roti with curry, hainan chicken, and spicy seafood laksa noodle soup. Service was very attentive. Atmosphere is slightly dark. Definitely no frills. Come for the food, not for the ambience.
A group of us went to this Malaysian restaurant and loved it. We are family style with recommendations from the staff. They didn’t disappoint. Everything we sampled was delicious. I bought a friend for dinner the follow week. The food is great and prices are very reasonable.
Great food at a reasonable price. It is located just off of Canal St., so it is not as busy as many of the restaurants in Chinatown.
Good selections of foods, in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. A solid choice for large groups visiting Chinatown.
Cheap n not bad. Staffs are all properly mask up. This is july 17th
Basic Southeast Asian Food, decent and well priced. Eight outside during the pandemic and the proper precautions were followed except menus perhaps, who knows whether they are cleaned regularly and who has handled them. Quick and easy meal there…
I ask for string beans with garlic sauce with onion fried rice they gave me what they wanted to give me not what I asked for then got over charged! I think they don't understand English or act like they dont just to make money in this covid-19 era beware wouldn't recommend!!!👎
Ok..the pictures say it all! Everything was hot and super flavorful.
I have been here before and they're usually good, but today is like one of those hit or miss. The mixed vegetable with chicken over rice is terrible. The sauce is good but the texure of the chicken meat feels like rubber. Takes a lot little more effort to chew. Also, no AC in here, just ceiling fan. So the whole time it's kind of uncomfortable humid.
Ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special $7.57. So strange they charge tax for paying with cash. My meal included frozen white rice and very little sweet and sour chicken. A side of 1/2 cup of chicken vegetable soup looked like somebody drank the other 1/2. Why would this be acceptable? I will not be coming here again. I should've noticed the red flag with so many empty tables during lunch time service. Come here if you enjoy eating ice cold lunch specials. Shame!
Most affordable and delicious Malaysian Chinese Fusion Cuisine in Chinatown NY
Very authentic cuisine! Pad Thai & roti are delicious! Very fair prices and service is great.
Taste good
Super happy with the lunch I received at this restaurant. They have a huge menu to choose from and everything I got was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. This is a random restaurant in a basement, but that shouldn't deter you; the food is worth it. It's better to come around lunch-time, less people.4/5
Great food and some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. Staff was extremely helpful, quick to respond to requests and offer suggestions. Family and kid friendly. Highly recommend!
